biography.
^{_{michael arturo martinez is currently a cop and has been for around 2-3 years. his dream job is to become a detective or a FBI agent, but he isn't so sure what he should go for. his relationship with his family is extremely rough, the only person he has left connected to his family is his abuela. michael refuses to contact anyone else due a series of traumatic events. michaels relationship life is also quite the drama, he has not been on the dating scene at all due the issues he has had with his ex-boyfriend in the past.}}

family history.
^{_{during labour, karla martinez (michaels mother) was never going to be able to make it to the hospital in time for the delivery, because of this it made conditions extraordinarily risky. being greeted into the world is often a miraculous and magical event to happen to anyone, but as soon as michael came out of the womb his mother had died. passing away from a maternal death. being greeted into this world by his father and his dead mother, that isnt so magical. from that moment on gabriel martinez (michaels father) had begun to spiral. michael was never aware that his father has always been a horrible man, he was actually abusive to his wife but who else could he take his frustrations out on if his wife was gone? 'the one who took her from him'. so growing up michael had always gotten the blame for his mothers death. alcohol and drugs were often an issue in his home and so was the constant physical and mental abuse from his father. through these many years michael slowly but surely began to resent his father and even his own sister, amelia. she had never supported michael through the abuse or tried to intervene at all, this rightfully so got to him in so many bad ways. however his abuela was and still is, his rock. she is his mothers mother. she became the true parental figure in his life and also his best friend. isabella had never blamed her one and only grandson for her daughters death because how in the world could a baby control who lives and who dies. but when it comes to school, through middle school he was always trying to be a people pleaser and this often made others uncomfortable so no one wanted to be his friend. however high school was somewhat different. he began to behave differently, shut himself off from anyone new in his life and some people even found him mysterious and cool. his whole high school personality was soon destroyed as his father took a severely high dosage of an unknown drug. it made him go wild and soon attempted to murder michael by slitting his throat. now michael had cut all contact from his family, except his abuela. so all that he has left from that stage of his life is a nasty scar on his throat.}}
